Hi, I’m scott tavlin.

The best way to describe me is a passionate, highly energetic dude that doesn’t take “that’s impossible” as an answer. I found my calling to speak and coach when I got on stage for the first time in college. I realized that I could use my voice to help others feel comfortable and have a great time. My thought was “I’ll be the ridiculous, weird one up here, so you can just be yourself and not worry about people judging you.” This led me to trying radio for the first time. I walked into the University of South Florida’s radio station and BAM!!! It was as if a hand of passion smacked me across the face. I started sharing my dream with others around me that I wanted to be a radio host! The responses I received weren’t the most supportive… “You won’t make money doing that.” or “Why don’t you be a reporter on the news instead?”. That was the first time I learned how to break the impossible. In a few short years I went from a producer to being named Tampa Bay’s Best Radio Host.

However, during those years I faced some of the toughest moments of my life. On my 24th birthday my mom passed away. She was an amazing mother who helped me become the man I am today. With that being said, I witnessed her struggles of working at a job she dreaded, stress stacking, and leaving her with feelings of hopelessness. I was left with the belief that there has to be a way of breaking free from that and creating a life you deserve. It was in those moments I made the decision I must learn everything I can to help others make their “impossible” dreams, possible.

From speaking to coaching, I always make sure to lead by example on what it looks like to BREAK THE IMPOSSIBLE. Whether it’s finishing a full Ironman race, raising thousands to feed families for the holidays, or becoming the Best of the Bay: Best Radio Personality. These were once my “impossible” goals that through the proper work and mindset, I’ve been able to make possible.

Now it’s the time to make the shift. What are the “one day I’ll get to that” ideas that you’d like to make happen now? What shifts do you need to make in your own life to make sure you wake up excited to tackle the day? Let’s make it possible!
